DPP MIO Officially Inaugurates West Java DPW and 5 DPD in Purwakarta

 

Purwakarta - The Central Board of Indonesian Independent Online Media (MIO) today officially inaugurated the management of the West Java Regional Leadership Council, together with the Regional Leadership Councils of Bogor, Sukabumi, Karawang, and Purwakarta Regencies, Wednesday (22/09/2021) at the Harper Hotel , Purwakarta.

In the inauguration of the Indonesian Independent Online Media (MIO) management, the Assistant Secretary of the Purwakarta Regency, the heads of Ormas, the Editor in Chief of Online Media, the heads of online media organizations, the Covid 19 Task Force, and other invited guests were present.

AYS Prayogie as the general chairman of the Indonesian Independent Online Media Center (MIO) Central Executive Board accompanied by the Secretary General of the DPP Frans Watu before inaugurating the West Java Regional Leadership Council first asked the management's willingness, whether they were willing to accept the duties and responsibilities according to the vision and mission of MIO to carry out and developing MIO in their respective areas, spontaneously answered by the "willing" management and then taking oaths and promises guided by the General Chairperson of MIO Indonesia, AYS Prayogie and followed by the appointed administrators.

In his explanation, A.Y.S Prayogie asked all appointed administrators to adhere to the MIO Indonesia code of ethics and the journalistic code of ethics in carrying out their duties and reporting activities so that what they wanted could run well.

"Develop MIO according to the Vision and Mission and stick to the MIO code of ethics and the Journalistic Code of Ethics," said the eccentric-looking man.

After taking oaths and promises, the chairmen, starting from the West Java DPW, and followed by the other DPD, signed the Integrity Fact in front of the participants.

"Hopefully what has been agreed can be implemented as well as possible," said A.Y.S Prayogi.

Still in an atmosphere of activity, the chairman of the West Java DPW, Azhari in his speech said that the presence of MIO in West Java can advance the creative economy even during this Covid 19 Pandemic.

The newly inaugurated Chair of the Bogor Regency MIO, Irfan Lubis said after being inaugurated, MIO must immediately do something so that its vision and mission can be realized, especially in reviving the creative economy at a time when the Covid 19 pandemic has begun to slow down.

"The proposals and input from friends who are members of MIO must be implemented immediately so that they can be useful and useful for those who join MIO," he said.

Furthermore, he said, Irfan Lubis invited friends who joined MIO to immediately take action with things that were beneficial for members and could establish synergy between the media and resource persons," he added.

North Morowali – The Advocates Team for the Association of Journalists of the Republic of Indonesia (POSBAKUM. PWRI) led by Advocate Rohmat Selamat, SH, M.Kn, visited the Gusman family, in Koroasu Village, Mori Atas District, North Morowali Regency, on Friday 03 September 2021.

Gusman is a farmer who was arrested for being accused of stealing fruit on his own land.

In addition to Rohmat Selamat, the PWRI Posbakum advocate team who also accompanied were Advocate Rubby Falahadi, SH and Advocate Ahmad Muhibbulah, SH.

When confirmed by the media crew, Gusman revealed that he did not commit the theft as alleged.

"That whatever is on my land, it belongs to me and I need to emphasize here I did not steal, because the palm fruit that I took was a plant that was on my land where the land certificates, PBB were there," said Gusman, Friday (03/09/2021)

Still in the same place, to the media crew, the Advocates Team for the Indonesian Journalists Association, said that they had received answers to questions related to proof of land ownership rights.

"Today, we have received answers to our questions regarding evidence of land ownership rights that the Gusman family of farmers owns the legality of the land and pays official taxes to the State on the land. This should be a civil matter, not a criminal case because it is related to a land dispute and for this problem, our PWRI Advocate Team will continue to bring this case to the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta and coordinate with IPW, Human Rights, Ombusdman, Polda, along with elements of the relevant legal parties, we continue to monitor until this problem is really clear,” said Advocate Rohmat Selamat, SH, M.Kn.

"That this case, which should not be a criminal but a civil land dispute, should have PT ANA (Agro Nusa Abadi) show proof of ownership of the land to the community, in which the community, including the Gusman farmer, also has the right to the land, "said Advocate Rohmat Selamat, SH, M.Kn.
